Welcome to the world of Fortuna, a land of fantastic proportions. This is an original fantasy roleplay that takes place in a world developed over nearly a decade of work and collaboration. We aim to encourage all participants to have a hand in the stories of the characters here, and the world around them. Your choices are key - so make them with pride. You decide who wins the wars, you decide who becomes King, the world is ours, and together we will bring it to life!
Add a landmark or a city that is key to your storyline.
All you have to do is post in this thread with a description of the location, with any details that are important to its existence. The location can then be added officially.
This might be a haunted castle, a diamond-rich mine, a fountain with a history, a tree with a door leading to another place... So long as the location you wish to add does not break existing canon, it will be added without issue.

I'd like to add the following to Muerte.
The Land of the Damned At the very centre of the deserts of Muerte is a land untouched by mortal hands. This place is dangerous, deadly - filled with horrid beasts and the souls of the damned. Most terrifying of all are the legends that somewhere in these deserts is a portal to Ephilroa, the Underworld. Perhaps the rumours are false... But there is something extremely offputting about these lands.

Abandoned Hospital Within the land commonly known as the "Mutant Fields" in Artavia is an old city lying abandoned by the Minister - and inhabited by something crueler. The mutated beasts that roam the streets are terrifying, but not as much so as the beast that has claimed an old hospital for his home. This beast is Thomas Dunn, and he has done his best to fix up the old hospital to make it usable for his purposes. The operating theater is sterilized and prepared, the morgue is once again icy cold, and the head office is once again inhabited.

Adding to Atton...
The God Tree Known as "Jaosi S'na" by the native Attonians, the God Tree is not just one location, but hundreds of locations spread across Atton. These trees are large, and each looks like it has been killed by a massive lightning strike. The trees are charcoal in colour, and the bark is irreparably damaged... And yet, the God Trees live. They are full of electricity that can be seen jumping through their branches, and should be considered quite dangerous due to how volatile they are, especially during storms. Most notably, however, these trees are an extremely powerful source of electricity, and act almost like a rechargeable battery, making them a valuable resource. The trees are a religious icon to the people of Atton, who believe that the trees are deeply connected to their God of Storms.

I would like to add the following to Cerenes, Artavia:
The Charred Manor An old manor standing in a now non-residential area in Cerenes, which despite its grand appearance gives off an ominous feeling. This is the old home of the Laeretti scientists, Roark and Alexandria, which was famously attacked and burned to cinders years ago, wiping the family off the map in what was regarded as a national tragedy. Due to the contributions the Laerettis made to Artavia, the government honored the site by preserving it - new walls and windows were erected, and it was externally made to look as it had before, with a commemorative sign identifying its significance. But the foundations, the beams, and the interior are as unchanged as the day the tragedy struck; blackened and burnt and only still standing thanks to Artavian innovation. Ash still floats through the air inside as a byproduct of the magical flames that destroyed the place. The well-to-do youth of the district, as well as some common urban kids who make their way over, treat it as a challenge of courage to enter into the abandoned, ash-laden place, and see how long they can stay. This is not, strictly speaking, legal, and tends to get kids in trouble when they are caught. There are also some rumors that an old, abandoned laboratory is hidden somewhere inside the manner, but none have ever found it, and some say it would be impossible for it to be there if the whole place had been burned up.[/blockquote

Would it be possible to add Simon's hermit cottage? If so, here's the info!
Stone Cottage The stone cottage is located in the woods of Niseca near Boiss. Those who have gone there have found Simon, a hermit of sorts who lives a quiet existence fulfilling the requests of his customers. The cottage itself is small, surrounded by gardens growing a variety of alchemical ingredients, and is unassuming enough from the outside. Inside the walls are covered with shelves filled with knick-knacks, dried or drying herbs and flowers, and strange items that feel ingrained with magic. Most people in the area know of this at the place and word has been slowly spreading, bringing people from ever farther away to request potions, hexes, or magically charmed objects from the self-proclaimed Potioneer and charm-maker extraordinaire. The stories of the hermit in the woods have gotten away from him a bit, and most people come to him expecting an old, haggard, scary warlock. The stories do tend to keep away the riff-raff though, so he doesn't go out of his way to correct them.
