So for those of you unaware, the characters Tehodis Kitai and Endless Laeretti have a history together that for a long time they didn't remember. Four years prior to the main events on the site, they met shortly after Tehodis was discharged from Thomas Dunn 's Project ACACIA. Shortly thereafter they wound up in the Feywild, where they met a fairy named Rill of the Wild Rose. Rill helped them get along in the strange realm, and though he urged them to leave eventually, they both decided that they wanted to stay, and so Rill let them eat Feywild food.
This wound up being a mistake for Endless, who (due to his unknown Moonborn heritage) had a strong connection with Fortuna, which was severed by binding himself to the Feywild. This left him depressed and miserable as he felt incomplete without knowing why. He and Rill developed feelings for each other during their time in the Feywild, and it made Endless feel a little better, but his problem still couldn't be fixed.
This led to Tehodis seeking out Haelrin, King of the Feywild, so that she could make a deal to free Endless. In seeking him, she encountered Sybelle, a dark fairy with a sadistic streak whom had been watching Tehodis for some time. Sybelle led Tehodis to Haelrin, and then gleefully told Endless and Rill about what had happened, to lure them both to Haelrin's castle. This resulted in Rill receiving a harsh punishment from the King, which Sybelle was happy to help with.
And so now, details on the characters themselves:
Rill of the Wild Rose
Description: Rill is a handsome, boyish Fairy with a thin but well-muscled build, and bright red hair that is somewhat unkempt. He is very cheerful and friendly, and speaks very casually. He was a Patrol Fairy, born with the purpose of monitoring mortals that stumbled into the Feywild. Most patrol fairies generally encourage mortals to trap themselves there when they are found, but this is not strictly required; Rill, being kind, instead liked to help mortals avoid getting trapped, and helped them get back home.
Powers: As a fairy, he could fly (and was quite fast!), and had a talent for visual illusion magic.
Role: Rill was imprisoned and presumably tortured by King Haelrin for helping Endless and Tehodis and trying to keep them hidden from the King. At present, he should still be locked away, but I'm open to the idea that he may have found his own way to escape. He'd most likely want to leave the Feywild if he did, and strike out somewhere in Fortuna. He would also likely want to see Endless and Tehodis again, and warn them that Haelrin has not forgotten them.
Other details: Though his orientation is up to the player, he did at least have feelings for Endless. Also, in the Feywild he stood about as tall as Endless, so in Fortuna his size would be fairly standard of a fairy, about six inches tall.
Sybelle, the Dark Fairy
Description: Sybelle is described as having an unsettling look that seems to just visibly convey her sadistic nature. Though the details of her physical appearance are not specifically described, she is stated to have a youngish appearance, and her speaking cadence is almost musical (though she says terrible things with it). She speaks as though always talking down to someone, and is cruelly teasing in her demeanor. I do imagine she has leathery, bat-like wings, unlike most fairies.
Powers: Sybelle likely has great magical power, including special kinds of dark magic that are not well-documented. This ties in to her role, detailed below.
Role: This has been discussed between myself, Mellie, and SigDigs before (but do please say something Mel, if you don't recall or don't agree). Sybelle's fairy purpose in being born was specifically to be bad. Unusual and certainly unenviable, but Sybelle's personality is such that she hardly resents this pre-designed purpose; rather, she relishes in it. She enjoys bringing terrible news. She enjoys seeing others suffer. She enjoys fooling others into terrible fates. She is unapologetically malicious. She is well-known among the fairies living in the Feywild as The Dark Fairy, and this is not just due to her notoriety but also because she is an officer of King Haelrin. The King is the only one whom Sybelle answers to, and as Halerin himself is a very neutral and self-serving entity, he finds plenty of use for her predilections. When Sybelle is not working for him, though, she makes appearances in the mortal world of Fortuna.
There are rumors and whispers of a Witch. In Fortuna, 'witch' is a term used only to describe a magic-user who uses forbidden, evil magic for untoward ends. The rumors say that this witch will make deals with those who come looking for her, and can do incredible things for them... but at terribly steep costs. Magic which doesn't seem to be bound by the standard barrier of the schools, and but that is dangerous to involve yourself with. This Witch is the occupation Sybelle likes to fill her spare time with, and she has even mastered the ability to maintain a human's size while in Fortuna, causing most to not realize that the witch is actually a Fairy. And the price she often makes people pay? Well, their first born child is a common payment. Haelrin could always use more play things, after all.
Contextually, it is most likely Sybelle who will be pursuing Endless and Tehodis once the time comes for them to be reigned in by Haelrin. A year in the Feywild is equal to seven years in Fortuna. Four years have passed for Tehodis and Endless sicne their escape. And though Haelrin generally waits a full year in the Feywild before he pursues his mortal toys... the circumstances surrounding Endless and Tehodis may have made him a bit impatient.
Other Details: Any extras or finer points of her life are completely up to the player!
